In the early winter, walking into the production workshop of Hebei QiuXian Obes Food Co., Ltd., a busy scene, workers are busy on the product weighing, vacuum packaging, refrigerated transportation and other production lines. "Since the beginning of winter, beef and mutton have entered the hot season of sales, with continuous daily orders, and now the amount of travel is about 30 tons a day, and the sales volume is about 1.2 million yuan." Shi Guang, general manager of Obes Food Co., Ltd., introduced that Qiuxian beef and mutton products are exported to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Xi'an, Zhengzhou and other major cities.
In recent years, Qiu County has vigorously cultivated the leading industry of "one town and one product" of beef and mutton, adopted the "enterprise + cooperative + farmer" model, cultivated and expanded the high-quality beef and mutton industry cluster, developed the downstream forage and other characteristic agricultural industries, and strengthened the upstream high-end meat food processing and commercial and catering supporting industries. It is understood that at present, there are 68 enterprises such as meat factories, cold storage, and breeding farms in Qiu County, and 32 market entities with special gastronomy markets, with a total output value of 1.35 billion yuan, driving 8250 farmers to breed households, creating more than 2100 jobs, and driving farmers to increase their income by 110 million yuan.
Chencun Township, Qiu County, has a history of breeding cattle and sheep since ancient times, and beef and mutton are local specialty products. In recent years, in order to strengthen the "beef and mutton" characteristic brand, Qiu County has continuously expanded the industrial scale by relying on the two leading enterprises of local Obes Food and Kangyuan Food, taking the road of standardization, marketization and branding, and formed a complete industrial chain of cattle and sheep breeding, slaughtering, segmentation, transportation, sales, import and export trade.
