The Zunyi Series Of Continuations is a large-scale document compiled on the basis of the Zunyi Series published in 2018, consisting of ancient books, Republic of China books, Republic of China newspapers, Republic of China periodicals and historical archives.
According to reports, as an important carrier to highlight the local cultural characteristics of Zunyi, inherit and carry forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture and a basic cultural project to promote a culturally strong city, the previously published "Zunyi Series" has included more than 400 kinds of books and compiled into 210 volumes. After publication, he won the first prize of the 13th Outstanding Achievements in Philosophy and Social Sciences of the People's Government of Guizhou Province last year.
After the publication of the Zunyi Series, the Zunyi Municipal Party Committee and the Zunyi Municipal Government of the Communist Party of China decided to continue to compile documents from the Republic of China period, that is, the "Zunyi Series Of Books Continued". The book is still led by the Zunyi Municipal CPPCC, organized and implemented by the Cultural, Cultural, Historical and Learning Committee of the CPPCC Municipal Committee, and the editorial board and editorial department have been established.
According to the relevant person in charge of the editorial department, in the process of collecting information in the continuation work, they will compile the ancient books that have not been included in the "Zunyi Series" for various reasons, or the important different versions or manuscripts that have been included in the "Zunyi Series" books, into the "Zunyi Series of Continued Ancient Books" (hereinafter referred to as the "Ancient Books Volume").
The "Ancient Books" includes the works of Zunyi authors before the Republic of China and the works related to Zunyi by foreign authors. A total of 82 kinds of books are included, among which the Qing Kangxi engraving "Zhaojue Zen Master Qi Qi Chapter", which can be called a rare book; among the books found, such as "Three Years in Western China: Notes on Three Trips in Sichuan, Guizhou and Yunnan" by the British diplomat and explorer Alexander Hosy published in London in 1890, from the excerpts, we can see the Qianbei written by the foreigners more than a hundred years ago.
In addition, the "Ancient Books Volumes" contain different versions or manuscripts of the books already received in the "Zunyi Series", and the Wentong Book Company edition of the "Nine Volumes of Chao Jing Chao Poetry Collection" and the Four Volumes of the Nest Classics Collection can be corrected by individual errors in the previous versions. In the "Li Xuan Ancient Manuscripts" included this time, the inner page of the tiantou has more than a thousand annotations from Li Shuchang's Zhu pen.
