Located in the Bird Fossil National Geopark in Longcheng District, Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province, there is such a petite and cute dinosaur, breaking the image of dinosaurs in people's minds, they are the parrot-billed dragons that lived in the early Cretaceous.
The fossil of Psittacosaurus is very small, about 1 meter long. It got its name because its mouth resembles that of a parrot. In the western Liaoning region of China, researchers have repeatedly found fossils of such dinosaurs. Psittacosaurus prefers to live in groups, and sometimes researchers dig up a fossil of a Psittacosaurus in one place, and dig deeper around and may unearth multiple Psittacosaurus fossils. Inside the National Geopark for Bird Fossils, two Psittacosaurus snuggled together have been frozen in history, and the docents affectionately call the fossil "eternal love."
