In the past 16 years since the police, Xiong Wei has investigated the scene of various criminal cases more than 1,750 times, cooperated with forensic medical examinations more than 162 times, issued more than 2,000 investigation records without error, provided no misjudgments in the inspection conclusions, and provided more than 1,840 effective evidence for investigation and litigation.

On-site investigation is not only the starting point for the investigation of every criminal case, but also the key to whether the case can be successfully detected and whether the suspect can be successfully prosecuted and tried. No matter day and night, no matter the thunderstorm heat wave, as long as there is a case, Xiong Wei will not hesitate and rush to the scene at the first time.
On June 1, 2014, two people were burned in Lügou Village, Xuedian Town, Wuxian County, and after receiving the report, Xiong Wei immediately rushed to the scene, actively participated in the on-site investigation, and found traces of burned bodies in the tank of suspect Lu Mou's home. After interrogation, Lu confessed to the criminal facts of his murder, and then Xiong Wei conducted a re-investigation of the scene to find valuable clues and evidence. During the review of the scene, Xiong Wei found that the 1 mutilated wavy pattern shoe print left at the killing site and the 2 broken wavy pattern shoe prints left at the cremation site were consistent with the pattern of the sole of the slippers worn by Lu that night; there were obvious climbing marks on both sides of the north wall in the east aisle of the north house at the cremation site, and the key left in the east house belonged to Lu Mou. These two situations coincided with the details of Lu Mou's confession that the key was lost and turned over the wall to find it, and the evidence was finally fixed.
Finding a needle in a haystack is the norm
Putting on gloves, masks, cameras on his back, and picking up the investigation box, Xiong Wei worked diligently to carefully search for clues and traces at different sites, only to extract key traces and physical evidence.
On the evening of January 31, 2018, after Xiong Wei received a gambling-related case assigned by the provincial department, he immediately drove to Zhengzhou, connected and communicated with the special case team at the first time, and participated in the arrest operation at about 21:00 on the same day. As a technician, the camera and the survey box are his "weapons", and he quickly enters the role to take pictures of the gambling equipment on the spot. And with the sensitivity of the profession, the first time to find the most direct and effective evidence of the ledger to take photos and fix the evidence. After the scene had been processed, Xiong Wei was ordered to conduct further surveys of several other dens. In the next few days, Xiong Wei came out early and returned late, conducted a carpet search of all the rooms and walls of the six places he had mastered, and found that there were secret door passages, or convenient escapes, or leading to gambling rooms, and he used his professional skills to submit a satisfactory answer sheet for the case investigation work.
Facing difficulties is the mentality
In the process of investigating the case, Xiong Wei is good at thinking, thinking about himself as a party to the case, realizing on-site reconstruction, and thinking about the traces and physical evidence left by the suspects in the deduction, so as to focus on discovering and extracting in the investigation, so that the colleagues involved in the case handling will take fewer detours and let the victims recover their losses as soon as possible.
