On November 23, the TOP20·2021 China Contemporary Photography Cutting-edge Exhibition was launched at the Zhejiang Art Museum.
The exhibition is sponsored by the China Photographers Association and the Zhejiang Provincial Federation of Literature and Literature, and organized by the Zhejiang Photographers Association, China Photography Magazine, the Cross-media College of China Academy of Art, and the Hangzhou Yuhang District Literary Association.
Since its establishment in Zhejiang, the TOP20 China Contemporary Photography New Talent Exhibition has been held for 5 consecutive sessions, and this year is exactly 10 years, and has become an important platform for bringing together outstanding domestic contemporary photography artists and observing the frontier art trends of Chinese photography.
A total of 621 groups of entries were received from all over the country, and after strict evaluation, 10 photographers were selected. At the same time, the judging team selected 10 from 100 groups of inductees in the past 10 years to join the exhibition, forming an exhibition pattern composed of 10 newly shortlisted artists and 10 academic retrospective invited artists.
Finally, the latest works of 20 domestic first-line contemporary photographers such as Cai Dongdong, Li Jun, Li Shun, liu Silin and so on were presented in the exhibition. The exhibition is not only a PK and collision of new and old in the field of contemporary photography, but also a tribute and exploration.

As a supporting event, on November 24th, the TOP20·2021 China Contemporary Photography Cutting-edge Exhibition Academic Seminar, the "Prospecting the Future of Contemporary Photography" Roundtable and the Invited Experts Meeting will be held simultaneously, and many scholars, photography critics and curators will discuss with photographers on the multi-dimensional theme of contemporary photography.
