Li Qihan was one of the outstanding leaders of the early workers' movement of our Party, a former executive member and organization director of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, a member of the Provincial and Hong Kong Strike Committee and a director of the Bureau, and was arrested for leading the workers' movement on several occasions. Li Qihan worked hard all his life, was arrested three times, and was imprisoned twice, and Deng Zhongxia painfully called him "the earliest and most bitter comrade of our party to go to prison."
The former residence of Li Qihan was built in the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty, and Li Qihan was born here on March 28, 1898. The former residence is a typical Shonan residence, with a regular architectural layout, exquisite craftsmanship, exquisite wood carvings above the shrine and the gate.
