Bird Master | Wang Xiaorong, Liu Xian and other bird watching classes have gained a lot from me

"Bird Master" Traceless Ecological Bird Appreciation is traceless China's latest original ecological education project, adhering to the core concept of environmental friendly education, with fresh and abundant bird culture as the accumulation, independent and diverse bird habitat as a mirror, through the reshaping of human behavior patterns at different levels, to achieve personal growth, promote the harmonious coexistence of human beings, society and nature, and has just won the 2021 China Charity Project Competition Grand Prix. On October 30, 2021, the students of the Youth Volunteer Association of the College of Life and Sciences of Shandong Normal University participated in the bird watching of Daming Lake Bird Master without a trace, and shared their feelings about the activity:

Wang Xiaorong

As the "fresh blood" of the volunteer team, I learned for the first time about the professional use of telescopes and the preparation required for bird watching in the wild. At the same time, Mr. Barley's explanation of bird watching knowledge is humorous and funny, allowing us to learn knowledge in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.

What impressed me most in class was the panda survival game. Through the game, I learned about the difficult development of giant pandas and the pressure of survival brought by humans. It made me more aware of the importance of protecting biodiversity and living in harmony with nature. I also hope that we can add more similar mini-games to our classrooms, so that we can learn more about man and nature.

Liu Xian

Today is sunny and the weather is mild, making it a perfect day for bird watching activities. The last bird watching activity made me feel a lot, and this activity still made me feel new fun.

The green pioneer service team of our College of Life Sciences actively grabbed the answer, took advantage of its professional advantages, and competed with the Shanshi College of Literature to achieve the first place in the event. There is an explanation of bird watching knowledge, an explanation of bird knowledge, and a biodiversity game about pandas, which makes the activity more vivid and interesting.

What impressed me about this event was the idiom ancient poem session about magpies and crows, which not only popularized knowledge, but also learned more interesting stories.

Liu Ruitong

This bird watching class was very rewarding, and I not only learned new knowledge in a relaxed atmosphere, but also exercised my oral expression skills, which was a happy thing.

My favorite part of this activity was that several groups went to see the birds separately, and they exchanged views while watching, learning a lot of knowledge that they didn't know before, enjoying the intoxicating beauty of Daming Lake, and feeling the cohesion of the team.

Autumn is pleasant, and you should go out and walk around more. I think the bird watching class is very meaningful, it brings us close to nature and benefits a lot, I like this mode of learning, I hope to participate in more such activities in the future.

Today, Mr. Barley introduced us to the magpie and compared it with the crow, but in fact, the magpie belongs to the crow family.

To commemorate the International Panda Day on October 27, Mr. Kiwi explained the knowledge about pandas to us and let us make a small game.

Zhu Qing

In this bird watching activity, I was most interested in the final stage of making the game, because it was more interesting, and it made me deeply appreciate how pandas face the harsh living environment and become less and less numerous. Thought-provoking and educational.
