Fujino Kokuro
Lu Xun's famous essay "Mr. Fujino" is a reminiscence essay written by Mr. Fujino when he was teaching at Xiamen University in 1926. After Lu Xun returned to China, he became famous, and he also looked for his mentor Mr. Fujino in many ways. In 1934, when the Japanese publishing house contacted the translation of the "Lu Xun Anthology", Lu Xun asked "Mr. Fujino" that the article must be selected into the collection, and hoped to take this opportunity to find Mr. Fujino. However, when Lu Xun died in 1936, he also did not receive any news from Enshi Teng.

After Lu Xun left Japan, Mr. Fujino also experienced a series of changes, unemployment, death of his wife, and finally returned to his hometown to remarry and open a dentist clinic. When Fujino's son was in high school, he was asked by his teacher if Taniguro Fujino in "Mr. Fujino" was his father. Only then did everyone know mr. Fujino's whereabouts. Before his death, Mr. Fujino wrote an article entitled "Remembering Zhou Shurenjun", which explained why he took such care of Lu Xun - Mr. Fujino had studied sinology when he was a teenager, and he respected China's sages very much, and believed that he should cherish the students from China.
Fujino Isakuro is credited with contributing to Sino-Japanese friendship after the war. On May 18, 1983, Mr. Lu Xun's hometown of Shaoxing City and Mr. Fujino's hometown of Awara Town (now Awara City) became sister cities.
