But it was also because of the Taliban's strict doctrine and all pagan policy that the whole of Afghanistan fell into a reign of terror, followed by the retaliatory attack of 9/11 and the United States. It was not until August of this year that the U.S. military finally left Afghanistan, ending a 20-year military intervention and ending the war in Afghanistan once and for all. As a result of the long war, Afghanistan's economy is particularly backward and it is one of the least developed countries in the world. In fact, when it comes to tourism in Afghanistan, there are still many historical and cultural monuments. The most famous is the Bamiyan Buddha, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There are two large Buddhas in the Bamiyan Grottoes, one chiseled in the 5th century, 53 meters high, wearing a red robe, commonly known as the "West Buddha"; one chiseled in the 1st century, 37 meters high, wearing a blue robe, commonly known as the "East Buddha". TepeMaranjan Mountain
There is also a strange legend about this mountain. Tepemaranjan is the name of a magician whose magic has created many human miracles that are incredibly wonderful. He traveled to every place in the world, and everywhere he went, he used his magic to win rich treasures. But he regarded wealth as his destiny, would only accumulate, and never thought of giving. After several decades of this, his death was approaching. Before he died, he inspected and caressed the treasures, and he was so sad that he did not want to be separated from these jewels! At the last moment, he set fire to this pile of treasure, and the ashes after burning were piled up into this mountain, which was called Thepemaranjan Mountain by later generations.
Afghan Royal Palace
The Afghan Royal Palace, also known as the Amanura Khan Palace, is located on a hilltop in western Kabul and was built in the 1920s by Afghanistan's then-King Amanoura Khan. Due to years of war, this once-glorious palace has been torn to pieces, and the magnificent buildings of the past have now become ruins and broken walls, but the magnificent three-story building can still be seen as prosperous.
