On October 22, residents of No. 32 South College Road reported that the sewer wellhead at the entrance of Unit 1 of Building 12 overflowed, and the public pavement of the community was overflowing with sewage and smelling bad, which seriously affected the lives of residents.

After receiving the residents' demands, the territorial community immediately coordinates the community property to solve the problem. In order to ensure the normal travel of residents, the cleaning staff cleaned the sewage and dredged the pipes until it was confirmed that there was no more sewage overflow.

Not only to treat the symptoms, but also to cure the root causes. In addition to emergency response, community workers began investigating the source of the problem. After verification, the sewer pipe is shared by the residents of Unit 1 of Building 12 of the community and the restaurant on the east side of the building, and the amount of sewage in the restaurant is large, and the oil is cold in winter, and the oil solidifies under low temperature conditions, thus blocking the sewer.

The community reported the problem to the North Taipingzhuang Street, and the street quickly coordinated the professional high-pressure dredging vehicle to completely dredge the solid oil pollution accumulated in the sewer to avoid the problem rebounding.

Recently, the community party committee also took the lead in holding a deliberative consultation meeting on the dredging of the sewage well in Building 12, and decided to replace the sewage pipes by Tianyue Heng Property, and lay civil and commercial sewage pipes in Unit 1 of Building 12 respectively, to completely solve this historical problem. The person in charge of the restaurant on the east side of Building 12 also said that before the completion of the sewage pipeline transformation, if the pipeline is blocked again, the restaurant will actively cooperate with the community and the property to dredge and clean up, so as to minimize the inconvenience of residents' lives.

The reporter learned from the North Taipingzhuang Street that as of press time, through temporary treatment, the problem of pipeline blockage has been greatly improved, and the civil commercial sub-line scheme of the sewage pipeline has been determined. Due to the difficulty of construction in winter, two new pipelines will be laid after the beginning of spring next year.
