On November 18, local time, the Sudanese police issued a statement saying that 89 police officers were injured in a large-scale demonstration in Khartoum, the capital of Sudan, on the 17th, and 3 cars were destroyed. In a statement, Sudanese police reiterated that they had "used minimal force" and did not use firearms against the demonstrators, saying that during the day's demonstrations, 1 person died as a result of tear gas dropped at the march site and 30 others were injured to varying degrees.

According to the statistics of the Sudanese Doctors Central Committee, as of the evening of the 17th, this large-scale demonstration has caused 15 deaths.

On the other hand, the Ministry of Culture and Information of the former Sudanese Transitional Government forwarded a statement released by the country's main opposition "Freedom and Change Alliance" on its social media account on the 17th local time, condemning the Sudanese military for cutting off local internal communications and the Internet before the demonstration on the 17th to cover up the "violence" it inflicted on civilians.
