A few days ago, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs released the results of the promotion and monitoring of China's beautiful leisure villages, and after the selection and recommendation of various provinces, expert review and online publicity, 254 villages were identified as China's beautiful leisure villages in 2021, and 532 villages were included in the qualified list of China's beautiful leisure villages monitoring in 2010-2017.
Among them, 9 villages, including Cha hay village in Urhe Town, Urhe District, Karamay City, Xinjiang, and Shanghu Village, Yaer Town, Gaochang District, Turpan City, were selected as China's beautiful leisure villages in 2021; 24 villages, such as Dongfeng Village in Gangou Township, Urumqi County, Urumqi City, and Paklek Village in Kekeya Town, Wensu County, Aksu District, were included in the 2010-2017 China Beautiful Leisure Village Monitoring Qualified List.

According to reports, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs carried out the promotion of China's beautiful leisure villages in 2021 this year, and monitored the beautiful leisure villages of China recommended by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs in 2010-2017. The beautiful leisure village released this time presents four major characteristics:
First, the advantages of resources are fully tapped. The natural environment of shanshui is beautiful, traditional villages are well preserved, rural landscapes are unique, and 95% of the villages enjoy pleasant natural landscape resources. The local customs are fully developed, the national cultural heritage is profound, the folk customs are rich, and 57% of the rural ethnic folk customs have outstanding characteristics. Farming culture has a long history, agricultural cultural heritage is scattered, folk customs are simple and harmonious, and 77% of the villages have cultural or agricultural heritage.
Second, the business format is constantly enriched. More than 60% of the villages take characteristic homestays and local cuisine as the main business projects, and more than 40% of the villages carry out leisure agriculture around agricultural experience and leisure and health care. In addition, 30% of the rural areas have carried out a series of activities such as parent-child study, red tourism, ethnic customs, science education and outward training to jointly create a colorful rural leisure trip.
Third, the united agriculture belt has achieved remarkable results. The average annual number of tourists received by each village reaches hundreds of thousands of people, and the leisure agriculture part of the disposable income of the villagers accounts for nearly half, and the average annual per capita disposable income of each village is nearly 40% higher than the average income of rural residents in the country.
Fourth, the functions of supporting facilities are perfect. Each village has improved the supporting facilities for services such as sightseeing, catering, accommodation, experience, health care, and leisure, explored and carried out customized and intelligent special service models, combined online and offline, and developed new digital channels such as cloud tourism and live streaming with goods.
