Zhao'an is the former central Soviet district county, the key old district county. Wushan is located between the junction of Zhao'an, Yunxiao, and Pinghe counties, and in the midst of the red historical storm, it is the place where the seeds of the revolution in southern Fujian were sown, and it is one of the fifteen revolutionary base areas in the eight southern provinces.
