Liu Wei said that there is also a large working area outside the wall. "Our aircraft depot is like a big logistics center. After the train transporting goods arrives in Zhuzhou, it will be distributed, and the carriages will be re-scattered and reorganized, and the southern ones will go to this side and the north will go to that side. My daily routine is to drive freight trains back and forth between the locomotive depot and the nearby grain and oil mills and manufacturing plants. ”
Seeing the colleagues in the carriage of the diesel locomotive sticking out, Liu Wei shouted: "Let me drive!" "I climbed up the locomotive about one person high.
In the cab of an internal combustion locomotive of five or six square meters, there are two driver's seats and an operator station. Liu Wei sat on a leather seat, with a straight waist, holding the operating lever in both hands, and cooperated with the co-driver with passwords and gestures to complete a set of standardized operations. The locomotive slowly moved forward, in addition to the operation password, Liu Wei did not say a word with the co-driver, which was to ensure the accuracy and safety of the operation. "We have to remind each other of what to do next. The working time arrangement of the train driver in the locomotive section is "white night rest", that is, a day shift plus a night shift, and then rest for two days. On the night shift, Liu Wei had to spend the night with another co-driver in the narrow locomotive, "very boring and tired." Mental stress is very high."
Find a way to mobilize the atmosphere, shoot a video to let everyone play and sing
After graduating from Hunan Railway Vocational and Technical College in 2013, Liu Wei was hired to enter the Zhuzhou locomotive maintenance section as a driver trainee. However, reality gave him a dismount, he said: "I was an EMU in school, I thought I would drive a cool EMU in the future, I wanted to go out and do a big business, I didn't expect to come..."
He said that when he first came to the unit, he was very rejective of the job. "I'm tired, I've been working for more than ten hours, I've been doing things, and I'm not as cool as I think."
In 2017, Liu Wei became a regular driver. It was also in this year that he married his girlfriend and gave birth to a son the following year. With his own small family, Liu Wei also gradually corrected his mentality, abandoning the "cool" fantasy of the profession of train driver when he was a student.
However, the maintenance section is far from the city center, "more than three hundred people in the workshop, only one big sister who has worked for a long time, and the others are all boys." Liu Wei said that the activities of colleagues after work are nothing more than playing cards, games, basketball and sleeping.
Inspired by the civil aviation bloggers he has been following, Liu Wei, who loves photography, thought: Since the nature of my work with civil aviation pilots is very similar, can I also shoot some interesting short videos?
Since April this year, Liu Wei has planned the theme himself, pulling new and old colleagues in the aircraft maintenance section to shoot various paragraphs and popular science videos. In the video, there are both young "post-95" students and "old cannons" wearing sunglasses, who wear blue uniforms neatly and play and sing in front of the camera, which is very happy.
"My colleagues are very willing to shoot with me!" Liu Wei laughed, "Because our work is already very boring, the 'circle of friends' of this work is relatively closed, so when shooting short videos, colleagues are very happy." ”

Speaking of short videos, Liu Wei is a "red man" in the unit. The leader of the aircraft maintenance section told reporters: "Xiao Wei usually likes to shoot videos, entertain and mobilize the atmosphere, we all know." On November 16, Liu Wei asked his colleagues to come to the tracks to prepare materials for the next day's update. This colleague is considered to be the "old man" of the aircraft maintenance section, "only came in this year, born in 1999." At first, Lao Mi was a little shy, unable to stretch, Liu Wei generously demonstrated the action next to him, first twisting his waist, then moving his crotch, and also playing the beat of "1234". After several practices, the old man can also follow the rhythm of the music more skillfully.
After the shooting was completed, Lao Mi told reporters that his family had brushed a short video that Liu Wei took himself to shoot, "Mom and Dad have seen it, they are very happy."
In the comments section of the video, Liu Wei is also keen to help young colleagues introduce objects.
