On November 19, the 2021 River Chief System Work Promotion Meeting of Lingbi County was held.
The meeting reported on the development of the river chief system in the third quarter, pointed out the existing problems, and made suggestions for the next step.
The meeting stressed that all townships, towns, and relevant departments should continue to implement the requirements of Document No. 1 of the Order of the General River Chief of Anhui Province, carry out the special action of "Qingjiang, Qinghe, and Qinghu" on a regular basis, and intensify the efforts to clean up and rectify the problems of indiscriminate occupation, random construction, random piling, random mining, random discharge, and indiscriminate fishing in rivers and lakes; they should carry out "looking back" at the problems that have been rectified, strictly prevent the problems from rebounding, further consolidate the results of rectification, strengthen follow-up supervision, and ensure that all measures are implemented in place; they must continue to strengthen the river patrol work in accordance with the provincial and municipal river chief system assessment methods; and we must enhance our understanding. Adhere to the problem orientation, focus on prominent problems that endanger the health of rivers and lakes, such as random occupation, random piling, random mining, random discharge, and random fishing, conduct comprehensive inspections of the rivers and lakes under their jurisdiction, and promptly report problems to be reported for handling when problems are found, so as to ensure that problems are rectified and reformed in place.
The meeting conveyed and studied the "Notice of the Ministry of Water Resources on Printing and Distributing the Specifications for the Performance of Duties of River Chiefs and Lake Chiefs (Trial)"; explained and trained the use of the River Chief System River Patrol APP.
