Taiwan's "Economic Daily" reported on November 20 that Cloud Leopard Energy and Enfu Capital Solar Energy Co., Ltd. held a ceremony to start construction and groundbreaking blessings at the "Tiger Case Sanguang Solar Photovoltaic Field in Tainanbeimen District" this morning. According to the Tainan Municipal Bureau of Economic Development, this is the largest ground-type fishery-electricity symbiosis solar photovoltaic field in Taiwan, with a set capacity of 123.08 megawatts and an average annual power generation capacity of 180 million kWh, which can supply more than 50,000 households with electricity for one year.
Dai Qian, deputy mayor of Tainan City, said that the "Beimen District Tiger Case Sanguang Solar Photovoltaic Field" is estimated to reduce carbon by 95,000 metric tons per year, of which 10MW of electricity has been subscribed by Google in 2019, which is the first field for Google to purchase green electricity in Asia and the first "renewable energy purchase agreement" in Taiwan.
