Shenzhou Labor Park is beautiful and clean, although the area is not large, but it collects many biographies of old labor models, which makes me linger and think about it. I read the advanced deeds of the model workers one by one, and one by one familiar tall images appeared in front of me like film and television dramas.
In the 1970s, I sat on his kangtou many times in the 1970s to listen to his briefing on the situation of fighting the heavens and fighting the land and making sandification in Duanjiazuo Village. The face of Zhen Chunshuang holding the "National Model Worker" award signed by Premier Zhou Enlai has always appeared in his mind. I wrote a press release about the old model's introduction and published it many times in Hengshui and Hebei Provincial Newspapers and Radio, until the 1990s, when the old model, whom I had not met for many years, could still call my name.
The old man Liu Songlin, the "hero of alkali reform", is also an old model that I admire. He led the members of Houying Village to fight against the heavens and the earth, change the alkali and control the salt, and turn a white expanse of saline land with only alkali and no grain into a "fish and rice village" in the north. Liu Songlin was elected as a deputy to the National People's Congress, secretary of the commune party committee, deputy secretary of the county party committee, and climbed the National Day viewing platform at Tiananmen Square. I have interviewed him many times about his exemplary deeds and photographed the images of his sweating like rain and labor.
What was even more impressive was yao Fuheng, an old model of "flower planters in the big garden" in Houtun Village; I used to live in the reception station of the county government in Houtun Village many times in the mid-1970s, and wrote that the elderly Yao Fuheng led the villagers to change the appearance of the poor village with all their painstaking efforts, and the grain output exceeded the "Outline", collapsed the Yellow River, crossed the Yangtze River, planted trees and planted flowers and grass, and became a big garden in the north, and the then state leaders Li Xiannian and Chen Yonggui came to inspect. The newsletters I wrote have been published on Central Radio, Hebei Radio, and Hebei Daily.
Liu Jingchuan, a national labor model of the education system, is an old predecessor I respect, and I also respect a teacher; when he was in charge of the County May Seventh School, I had the honor of being his student, and the serious and strict teaching style of the old predecessors made indelible achievements in the cause of education in the period of chaos. Later, I worked in the Education Bureau, and Mr. Liu Jingchuan presided over the work of the county no. 1 Middle School, and became Pei Ran, an advanced unit in the region, province and the whole country.
I sat on a long chair in the park, as if I saw the vivid figures of old models. I think this is the wish of the park designers! Yes, the happy living environment we have today is precisely because of the hard work and struggle of generations of working people! We want to carry forward the spirit of the model worker, never stop, bravely move forward, fight against the heavens and the earth, create miracles, lay a better and more solid foundation for future generations, and let the Chinese nation stand on its own in the world!
