In April 1957, the first Canton Fair opened in Guangzhou, opening a door for China to the world. After decades of development, the Canton Fair has become the epitome and symbol of China's opening up to the outside world, and is known as the barometer and weather vane of China's foreign trade.
At this Canton Fair, the Gansu Trading Group organized a total of 108 enterprises in the province to participate in online and offline exhibitions. Among them, 31 enterprises with the most Gansu characteristics participated in the offline exhibition, covering general motors, electronic appliances, lighting, medicine and health care, food and other aspects.
"The Gansu trading group hopes that through such a large platform as the Canton Fair, Gansu enterprises can better connect with the market, go to the world, and expand the influence of Gansu products." This Canton Fair is the first Canton Fair to resume offline exhibitions after the outbreak of the new crown pneumonia epidemic. Tianshui Hailin is an enterprise with a long history of nearly 60 years, and its various types of bearing products are widely used in heavy trucks, engineering equipment, agricultural machinery and other fields, and have considerable influence in the domestic bearing production industry. Its two leading products, tapered roller bearings and wheel bearings, have successfully entered overseas markets.

Lanzhou Foci Pharmaceutical is a "time-honored brand" born in the late 1920s, is an advocate and practitioner of the idea of "Western system of Chinese medicine", once pioneered the concentrated pill form of Chinese medicine, and created a precedent for the industrial production of Chinese medicine.
At this Canton Fair, Lanzhou Foci Pharmaceutical brought more than 40 kinds of products in three categories, such as traditional Chinese proprietary medicine, Traditional Chinese medicine tablets, and substitute tea, and comprehensively displayed the long history of the company through pictures, texts, videos and other forms.
"This is the Six Flavor Dihuang Pill, Xiangsha Stomach Pills, and Angong Niuhuang Pills that we export; this is the company's newly developed health tea and fruit tea; these are Gansu's high-quality Chinese herbal medicine tablets..." Gao Kai, deputy general manager of Lanzhou Foci International Business Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Lanzhou Foci Pharmaceutical, introduced to buyers from time to time.
Gao Kai told reporters that Foci's products entered the Southeast Asian market in 1931, and it was the earliest pharmaceutical enterprise in Gansu to carry out foreign trade, and the traditional proprietary Chinese medicines it produced have been exported to 29 countries and regions.
"Many overseas customers are traditional old customers, and some are already in the second or third generation." "We bring green and organic lilies, potatoes, quinoa, hoping to expand the domestic sales market, it is best to get overseas orders." Jing Chunling, the head of the cooperative, smiled.
In 2012, Jing Chunling and her husband established a planting base in Yuandai Village, Liujiazhai Town, Huining County, and began to explore the cultivation and processing of green organic ingredients. Through nearly 10 years of efforts, the products have established sales channels in the East China and North China markets.
"In just half a day, I exchanged contact information with more than a dozen buyers, and I gained a lot." Jing Chunling said.
Speaking of harvesting, Song Yuan, a salesman of Jingning Zhongtian Trading Co., Ltd., who is also in the food exhibition area, also feels the same way.

In order to help rural revitalization, this Canton Fair also set up a "rural revitalization characteristic products exhibition area" for the first time, which makes more high-quality characteristic agricultural products in Gansu have a platform for display.
"The food is diverse, mainly grains, these are high-quality grains native to the Loess Plateau." At the booth of Gansu Guifutang Wugu Nutritious Food Technology Co., Ltd. in the exhibition area of rural revitalization characteristic products, Chai Weihua, the general manager of the company, is introducing Huining specialty products and small grains to foreign buyers.
Speaking of the Canton Fair, Chai Weihua's first feeling of participating in the exhibition for the first time is that "the number of exhibitors and buyers is large and the level is high." "After a few hours of development, dozens of customers have been received." He said.
As a small business, Gui Fu Tang has limited funds for branding, so Chai Weihua cherishes this opportunity to participate in the exhibition.
Wang Xiaojuan, deputy director of the Baiyin Municipal Bureau of Commerce, told reporters that the Gansu trading group organized a total of 13 Gansu agricultural enterprises to participate in the exhibition area of rural revitalization characteristic products, of which 3 were from Baiyin.
