Zhao Xincheng

Zhao Xincheng (July 1922 – 1949), courtesy name Duzhi, was born in Ajide, Guangnan County, Wenshan Zhuang and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province (now Zhulin Town, ancestral home of Zhaojia Village, Yan'an, Shaanxi). In March 1949, the seventh detachment was reorganized into the 7th Regiment of the Yunnan Guiqian Border Column of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, with Zhao Xincheng as the deputy battalion commander of the second battalion, participating in the battles of Jiu Mo, Chang Zhen, and Ma Jie; in the early morning of December 27, he died heroically. In June 1951, Chen Geng, chairman of the Yunnan Provincial People's Government, issued the "Honorable Commemorative Certificate for the Families of Revolutionary Victims of the Yunnan Provincial People's Government" for zhao Xincheng's family.

Chen Jianjun (1962-1987), born in Mali Town, Malipo County, Wenshan Zhuang and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, was the first anti-narcotics police officer to die since the founding of New China.
