The Leviathan Axe is a new weapon from Kratos in God of War (2018), forged by the Dwarf Brothers. Recently, some players spent 130 hours to build a realistic Leviathan Axe, and even got the approval of the director of God of War (2018).
The player, who was called Megret Agnès on Twitter, appeared to be a Frenchman. He tweeted out his own Leviathan Axe, which looked sturdy, made of high-quality, thick wood strong enough to support the axe blade, but it was impossible to tell from the pictures whether it was really made of steel.
Agnès tweeted that it took him 130 hours to make the axe, and it wasn't even the first time he'd done it. This is the second Leviathan Axe he has built nearly a year after his first production. This axe has very fine details, not only the blade and handle have gold decorations, but the wood is also carved into relief.
The Leviathan Axe is so exquisitely crafted that even Cory Barlog, Santa Monica's creative director, God of War (2018), has endorsed Agnès' work. Barlog replied to Agnès' Twitter with a GIF of Kratos nodding and a loving emoji.
