At the recent Virtual Global Interactive Entertainment Conference, Strauss Zelnick, CEO of R Star's parent company Take-Two, spoke in an interview about the new Red Dead Redemption series.
Zelnick elaborated on the thought process when Take-Two released the new game, and the company deliberately spaced the release of the Red Dead Redemption series and another representative game series of R Stars, on the one hand, to increase the development time to ensure the quality of the game, and on the other hand, to make each game as special as the movie.
Zelnick said Red Dead Redemption 3 is currently in development, but expects it will be a long time before we meet you. Gamerant speculated that it may take at least three years to complete development.
