On the occasion of the city's conscientious study and implementation of the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, on the morning of the 15th, the Longyan New Era Civilization Practice Base was unveiled in Longjin Lake Park! Yang Yi, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and director of the Propaganda Department, representatives of the co-construction units, representatives of the founding units of the national civilized units, and volunteers attended the event.
Longyan New Era Civilization Practice Base is a vivid embodiment of the major decision-making and deployment of the Party Central Committee on the pilot construction of the New Era Civilization Practice Center in our city; it is a pragmatic move to implement the spirit of the Sixth Party Congress of the City, promote the reading of the whole people and build the civilized practice of Longyan"; it is an important measure to promote high-quality civilization practice and the creation of high-quality civilized cities, enhance the image of urban civilization, and improve the cultural literacy of the masses.
The base is jointly built by the Civilization Office of Longyan Municipal Party Committee, Longyan Tobacco Industry Co., Ltd. and Longyan Cultural Tourism Huijin Development Group, the base adheres to the goal orientation of "benefiting the people and benefiting the people", relies on the construction of "park study", provides reading space for the general public, and provides an activity position for the central urban units to carry out civilized practice and volunteer service. The base has a total area of 558 square meters, with an existing collection of more than 10,000 books, and has a public welfare activity place such as a new era civilization practice display area, a parent-child reading area, and a volunteer service area.
Since the construction of the new era civilization practice center was launched in 2018, the city has taken the opportunity of listing Hangzhou, Wuping and Silla in the national pilot to comprehensively promote the construction of the new era civilization practice center. Up to now, our city has taken the lead in achieving full coverage of centers, institutes and stations in the province, extended the construction of 14 civilization practice characteristic points and 1 civilization practice Honggutian base, and organized 208 national and provincial civilization units in the city to pair up with 341 civilization practice station characteristic points. In the past year, our city has established the country's first new era civilization practice center in districted cities, created the country's first cross-provincial and cross-regional Longyan • Beijing Haidian New Era Civilization Practice Center pairing and co-construction precedent, innovated to create the country's first academician spiritual characteristics, established the first new era civilization practice expert think tank in Fujian Province, and started the construction of an industrial (industrial) park civilization practice base.
After the unveiling ceremony, volunteers carried out volunteer service activities such as the "Happy Reading with My Growth" parent-child reading salon activity.
