Beijing News (Chief Reporter Sun Haiguang) F1 Sao Paulo Grand Prix ended on November 15, the 10th Mercedes driver Hamilton chased all the way to win the 101st career race championship, and narrowed the point difference with Verstappen to 14 points.

Coming to Carlos Pass Circuit, Hamilton had a tough weekend. After taking first place in qualifying, Hamilton was disqualified for technical irregularities in the car's rear wing. Later in the qualifying sprint, Hamilton, who started in 20th place, overtook all the way to 5th place. In addition, hamilton was sent back 5 places due to the team's decision to replace the power unit components, and could only start from 10th place this morning.

Even so, it did not affect the arrival of Hamilton's 101st Grand Prix title. After the start, Hamilton began overtaking mode. After just 5 laps, he went from 10th to 3rd.

With 12 laps left, Hamilton managed to surpass Verstappen with consecutive DRS, and then quickly widened the gap to win the São Paulo Grand Prix, with Verstappen and Bottas in 2nd and 3rd place, respectively.

"I'm very grateful for the incredible support I've received this weekend, I haven't had that much support at Silverstone. After being penalized, we had a tough weekend. This is Hamilton's sixth title of the season and the 101st career race title.

São Paulo is the hometown of Brazilian driver and three-time F1 champion Elton Senna. In the return celebration circle after the game, Hamilton held the Brazilian flag in tribute to idol Senna. However, due to unfastening his seatbelt in the return circle, Hamilton was summoned by the event officer and fined 5,000 euros.

After the Grand Prix, hamilton and Verstappen's point difference narrowed to 14 points. With 3 games left in the season, the duo's annual championship battle has become white-hot. In the constructors' standings, Mercedes extended their points lead over Red Bull to 11 points.
