These European-style buildings under Duan Qirui's government were built in the early 20th century. His designer is Chinese Shen Qi.
Looking at these remaining buildings, I can't help but marvel at the quality of his buildings, the level of architecture is superb, and the buildings are exquisite. After a hundred years, these buildings are still so beautiful and solemn.
To enter the gate, pass by a large stone lion and look closely at the words on the stone tablet: 3.18 Massacre. This is a record in history: on March 18, 1926, the massacre of the people caused by the Duan Qirui government.

The main building is so grand that it is impossible for a wide-angle lens to be complete. I went around to the back of the main building, barely illuminating most of the building, far from reflecting the appearance of the main building. Standing under this building, you will be infected by the exquisite patterns and Western designs of the building. Such buildings are rare both domestically and internationally.

I have long heard that there are many kittens in the yard, I did not expect that as soon as I entered the yard, I was targeted by the cat, although the cat has dirty hair, but its eyes are absolutely confident and arrogant, it is not afraid of people, I took several pictures of it in a row, it did stare at me motionlessly, until I lost the battle, no longer dare to look at it. It is no wonder that some people say that only the brave dare to enter this compound at night. It could be that these cats came out to intimidate people.

The annex of the main building is majestic and gorgeous. Especially the hanging staircase, very European.
There is a garden in the courtyard, and the red sign says that the garden is a gift from renmin university students. So far, there are still family members of Renmin University living inside.

The most special thing about these buildings is their external staircase. I especially love stairs like this. The house where I lived when I was a child was also such a staircase, so that I could quietly go upstairs and downstairs without the eyes of adults. The advantages of this staircase are too many, and will be described later.
