A few days ago, the Huating Fire Rescue Station of the Jiading District Fire Rescue Detachment was unveiled, and after it was put into use, it will undertake tasks such as fire fighting and rescue and social assistance in Huating Area, and further enhance the regional fire prevention and control and fire fighting and rescue capabilities.
Huating Fire Rescue Station, located at No. 2011 Gaoshi Highway, laid the foundation stone at the end of December 2019 and took more than a year to complete. The station is a first-class ordinary fire rescue station, consisting of a comprehensive building, a training ground, a training tower, etc., equipped with an assembled compressed air foam fire truck, a high-power foam water tank fire truck, a rescue fire truck and a ladder fire truck.
Wang Junming, director of Huating Fire Rescue Station, introduced that after the Huating Fire Rescue Station is put into use, it will further share the police task of Xuxing and Zhuqiao Fire Rescue Stations, and greatly shorten the police time in the Huating area.
According to reports, because the Huating area is mostly rural, some areas have narrow roads and few water intake points, which has caused inconvenience to fire rescue. "We will do a good job of jurisdictional research in advance and formulate relevant emergency plans." Wang Junming said.
In recent years, Jiading has taken the acceleration of the construction of fire stations as an important measure to quickly improve the level of fire rescue capabilities, and continuously optimized the ratio of regional fire fighting forces. After the Huating Fire Rescue Station was put into use, the total number of fire rescue stations in the whole district reached 13, forming a comprehensive fire rescue system composed of 11 first-class fire rescue stations, 1 small fire rescue station, and a special fire rescue station. During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, Jiading will also plan to build 2 to 4 fire rescue stations.
