The compound at No. 150 Huanshi West Road is an old residential area under the jurisdiction of Keshan Community, and most of the elderly people living here have retired. The corridors of the residential buildings are narrow, dimly lit and have no handrails, which makes it difficult for some elderly people with limited mobility to come and go every day. In order to solve the problem of access for the elderly, the grid members of the community building collected the opinions of party members and the masses, and reflected the lack of handrails in the corridor of the compound to the Keshan Community Party and Mass Service Center.
After learning of the situation, the Keshan Community Party and Mass Service Center immediately inspected the scene and included this problem in the "Old Man's Support" project, planning to install safety handrails on the six stairs in the compound. After the street and the community determined the installation plan, they quickly arranged for the construction personnel to install metal handrails, which effectively solved the problem of the difficulty of the dean going up and down the stairs.
