On November 11, the No. 31 bus line in Anqing City was optimized and extended to the east, and 9 new bus stops were added to facilitate the transportation of residents of the Dream Campus of the Navy 116 Hospital, the Convention and Exhibition Center, Zhanghu Park, Fangxingyuan Community, and the employees of Zhenyi Automobile, Aisin Automobile and other enterprises along the way, and to help the development of the Dream New Area in Anqing Economic Development Zone.

The optimized Bus Line 31 starts and ends at Railway Station - Baishui Lake Bus Station, and the line direction is Railway Station - West Yingbin Road - East Yingbin Road - Jingshi Road - Xianghe Road - Shun'an Road - Yingbin East Road - East Heping Road - TianzhuShan East Road - Fangxing Road - South Station Road - Baishui Lake Bus Station. During the closure of Heping East Road, it was temporarily changed to Yingbin East Road - Laofeng Road - Tianzhu East Road. After the optimization, a total of 9 stops have been added to the line: Hepingyuan East, Heping East Road Yingbin Junction, Tianzhu Mountain Road and Pingdong Road Junction, Zhanghu Park North, Tianzhu Mountain Road Section Mountain Junction, Shanhu Community, Shanhu, Changshan and Baishuihu Bus Stations. Departure intervals, service hours and fares remain the same.

As the city's urban territory continues to expand to the east, public transportation is also extending to the east. Bus No. 31 was launched on November 30, 2018, starting from Anqing Railway Station to Anqing Vocational and Technical College, with a total length of 7.5 kilometers and 2 cars. On August 23, 2019, it was optimized and extended to "Railway Station - Peace Garden", with a length of 10 kilometers and 3 cars. Now it extends east to the Whitewater Lake Bus Station, with a total length of 16 kilometers and 4 cars.
