Peter Drucker died at his home in Claremont, California, on November 11, 2005, at the age of 95. Western academic circles generally believe that in the past half century, Drucker's research results have had a major impact on the organization and management of modern enterprises, he is known as the "father of modern management", a master of management, representative works include "Drucker on Management", "Management Challenges in the 21st Century", "Management in the Nineties" and so on.

Born in 1909 to a family of officials in Vienna, Austria, Drucker received his Ph.D. in international law from the University of Frankfurt, Germany, in 1931. In 1933, when his articles were banned by Nazi Germany, he left Germany for London, England, and in 1937 moved to the United States. In 1942, he was hired as a consultant to General Motors. In 1946, he published "The Concept of the Company" and in 1954, he published "Management Practice", which established the status of a master and marked the birth of management. In 1966, he published The Effective Manager. In 1973, he published Management: Tasks, Responsibilities, Practices. On November 11, 2005, Drucker passed away.
