The theme of the 2021 Shanghai Urban Space Art Season is "15 Minutes of Community Life Circle - People's City", which promotes the construction of community life circle and creates a happier and better life for the people through the space art season activities.
"Encountering a Beautiful Community - 2021 Shanghai Urban Space Art Season Photography Exhibition" is jointly sponsored by Shanghai Photographers Association, Shanghai Urban Planning and Design Research Institute, Shanghai Urban Public Space Design Promotion Center and other units, aiming to better show the 15-minute community life circle construction brings happiness and sense of gain to residents, record the wonderful exhibitions, public art works and scenes of citizens actively participating in the activities of the 2021 Shanghai Urban Space Art Season, and intuitively record the development of the community through images, capture and witness , record and share this wonderful history and moments. Community & Change
In recent years, Shanghai's community life is undergoing earth-shaking changes, and a series of field projects such as upgrading the quality of residential areas, building facilities for the elderly, creating activity spaces for children, excavating and providing employment and learning spaces, and creating cultural spaces and recreation spaces in neighborhoods are being implemented and landed, bringing visible convenience to residents. This section focuses on the history and present of the community, the transformation and upgrading of community space, and the contrast between the old and new of residents' living appearance.
Community and new look
The community is the basic unit of urban production, life and governance, the smallest cell that embodies the fundamental attributes of the people's city, and the basic carrier to stimulate the people's main body strength and build a social governance community of co-construction, co-governance and sharing. This section focuses on showing the current community life of "livable, suitable for work, suitable for travel, suitable for learning, and suitable for maintenance".
Community, Future
Community residents participate in the operation and management of community public facilities and spaces, jointly maintain the construction results, draw a beautiful blueprint together, and create a good atmosphere for everyone to care, support and participate in community development. This section highlights the continuous enhancement of people's sense of gain, happiness and security through the 15-minute community life circle action, and residents actively participate in community construction to express their yearning for a better life.

Works requirements
1. The genre of photographic works is not limited, color and black and white, single and group photos can be taken; creative equipment is not limited, cameras, mobile phones and aerial photographs can be used.
2. The number of submissions per contributor is limited to 10; the number of works in the group photo is 4-8, counted as 1 work;
3. The submitted pictures are in JPEG format, and the single file is not less than 3M or the long side is not less than 3000 pixels.
4. All submitted pictures must indicate the shooting time, place, picture description (within 100 words, the subject matter of the work conforms to the theme of the exhibition, and the text description is clear and clear) and the author's name and contact information.
Awards
After the deadline for the collection, the Shanghai Photographers Association will organize a team of experts to select, review and determine the final list of exhibitors. The awards are as follows:
Masterpieces
A total of 20 pieces, each work received a subsidy fee of 800 yuan, and the participation points of the Photography Association were 2 points.
Works in the exhibition
A total of 100 pieces, each work subsidy cost of 300 yuan, the participation points of the photography association are 2 points.
Exhibition of photographic works
It is scheduled to be exhibited in late November 2021 at Shangsheng New Institute and Centennial Park.

*The works created by individuals participating in the submission must be works independently completed by the contributor himself, and the contributor should ensure that the works submitted by the contributors do not infringe the legitimate rights and interests of third parties, including copyright, portrait rights, reputation rights, privacy rights, etc. All responsibilities arising from the manuscript or submission behavior shall be borne by the contributor and shall not be related to the organizer.

During the call for papers, the works used for publicity and display do not represent the final selection results. All submitted works must not be watermarked on the screen, otherwise they will be treated as a waiver.
