The Little Garden of Eden as a child

author:The lowly and worried country

There is a small garden not far from my house, although the garden is not large, the green trees are shady, there are more large trees, in the distance, the shade of the trees reveals the church with red tile spire, when I was a child, I pretended to be a believer to go in and do worship, in order to see the strange flowers and grass in the courtyard and climb the trees, because naughty was "invited" out of the park several times, and then the church responded to the call of the state, opened the garden, and we can finally enter and exit freely.

In the summer, the cicadas chirp, and the little friends often use two long bamboo poles to tie together, in order to be able to get the cicadas on the tree (we call it known again), and then pinch it in the water with flour, until it becomes a sticky gluten, put it on the head of the bamboo pole, slowly stretch up along the fork of the tree, and when approaching the cicada, you must quickly stick to its wings... Glued, don't mention how happy you are!

In late summer and early autumn, crickets in the grass, in the dirt sound seductive, three or four little friends with torches and cricket catching nets in their hands, follow the sound of light hands and feet, after determining the location of the crickets, one person took the flashlight, the other two hands clutched the net, slowly dug up the soil at the mouth of the hole, stared at the cricket nervously, as soon as they saw its figure, they immediately used the net cover, and everyone who caught the beauty in their hearts laughed non-stop, and once they escaped, their faces were full of regret and loss, and they would complain to each other... Boys have no bottom line when they play, and sometimes they tend to be wild until dawn... Will forget the homework to be done, often punished by the wall to think, the parent-teacher meeting is the most headache for parents, all they hear are our stubborn behavior, for which they have been scolded and beaten by their fathers.

It was the happiest time of my childhood, playing in the little garden after school holidays, this is the Garden of Eden of our childhood.

Although I am old and rare now, I still don't forget to walk around often, and it seems that there are childhood figures everywhere...

Today's children are busy with tuition, brushing problems, and have not seen anyone who will come to catch cicadas and crickets, it seems that we were happy when we were young, at least a happy childhood, which I still remember.
