Liu An, the second-level senior sergeant of the Second Community Police Team of the Puhuangyu Police Station of the Fengtai Branch of the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau, and the deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the Puhuangyu Second Community in the East Blacksmith Camp Street, has been rooted in the community for 34 years, treating the community as a home and the community as a relative. Sadly, on the morning of March 7 this year, Liu An suddenly suffered a heart attack while working in the community police office, and his life was frozen at the age of 55 after ineffective rescue.
"The good things he does are like the stars in the sky are countless." "Liu An served our community, the Grand Duke was selfless, we didn't expect him to go so suddenly, we are very sad." Today, when it comes to Liu An, the residents of Puhuangyu Second Community still shed tears.
Liu An, born in 1965, joined the public security work in 1987. From the first day he put on the police uniform, he stuck in the community and passed on the love in his heart to the community and the masses in the most direct and simple way.
The elderly population of Puhuangyu Second Community reaches more than 70%, and they take the big things and small feelings of these elderly people to heart and become part of Liu An's daily work and life. Since 1987, Liu An has volunteered to take care of more than 70 empty nesters, widows and the disabled, and sent many elderly people to their deaths. Many old people said affectionately: "It is really my blessing to have a good film police like Anzi." Liu An, who saved money and thrift, also donated more than 200,000 yuan to fund 18 orphaned children and 10 students in need. The Lei Feng Volunteer Patriotic Service Team, which he initiated and formed, has served the community for 20 years, and the team has grown to more than 100 people.
Guarding the safety of the community is the top priority of Liu An's work. He focused on the needs of the masses in the jurisdiction, constantly innovated work methods, and came up with the tenacity of "nailing nails" and the kung fu of "embroidery" to eliminate the worries of the masses and solve the difficulties of the masses. In view of the fact that there are more elderly people in the community, their access to information is less, and their awareness of prevention is low, Liu An preached the knowledge of law and safety precautions to residents by shouting through a hand-held microphone, and later set up a "Voice of Peace Radio Room" in the community, and opened the "Voice of Peace" QQ group and Weibo. In 2019, after becoming the "deputy secretary wearing police uniforms" in the second community of Puhuangyu, Liu An actively coordinated and cooperated with the street party committee to promote the closed management of the old community, conscientiously implement the 7×24-hour policing, and extensively mobilize mass prevention and mass governance forces to create a well-known safe community. During the new crown pneumonia epidemic, Liu An shouted "I am a party member, I go first", and worked together with the community staff to achieve "zero infection" in the community.
After Liu An's sacrifice, the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau set off a wave of learning from Liu An, and the Fengtai branch where he worked before his death also carried out the creation of "Liu An-style community demonstration post".
