Empress Dowager hot pot is a traditional snack of the Han ethnic group in Shaanxi Province. Each small bowl contained three, six or nine, Cixi was puzzled, and the chef laughed: "Take the meaning of three six nine and go up", Cixi Dayue.
Empress Dowager Cixi witnessed this scene, and then looked at the ingenious "pearl" dumplings in the bowl, and after being happy, she ate three dumplings in a row and drank two mouthfuls of soup, and the eunuch standing next to her could not help but be secretly surprised. The "Empress Dowager Hot Pot" dumplings got their name from this.
Every guest who tastes an unequal number of pearl dumplings will receive a satisfactory blessing: eat one, called one smooth sailing; two, called double happiness Linmen; three, called three levels of continuous promotion; four, called four seasons of fortune, called five grains and abundance; six, called six six DaShun; seven, called seven stars high light; eight, called eight immortals across the sea; nine, called supreme; ten called perfect. If you don't eat one, you'll get a mantra that says, "Carefree, healthy and long-lived, welcome back." So far, Chinese and foreign guests have all been overjoyed.
