On the afternoon of December 18, Zheng Renhao, secretary of the (Zhanjiang) Municipal Party Committee and director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, met with Huang Xin, secretary of the party committee and chairman of China Paper Investment Co., Ltd., and his party, and the two sides exchanged views on deepening cooperation between local enterprises and accelerating the layout of projects.

On behalf of the municipal party committee and the municipal government, Zheng Renhao expressed his gratitude to China Paper for its contributions to the economic and social development of Zhanjiang. He said that when General Secretary Xi Jinping inspected Guangdong and delivered an important speech, he mentioned Zhanjiang many times, giving Zhanjiang a major strategic positioning as an important development pole of Guangdong and building a modern coastal economic belt. At present, Zhanjiang has become a prosperous land and investment hot land, condensing the huge momentum of high-quality development, and the good development trend has been recognized and optimistic by the majority of investors at home and abroad. After years of cooperation, China Paper has formed a deep friendship with Zhanjiang, and its Guanhao High-tech Company has made important contributions to the economic and social development of Zhanjiang. It is hoped that China Paper will continue to pay attention to supporting the development of Zhanjiang and build Zhanjiang into a modern Lingang paper base for China's paper industry. Zhanjiang will work together with China Paper to serve the development of China Paper in Champa.

Huang Xin briefly introduced the strategic adjustment plan of China Paper industry and the development plan of Zhanjiang investment projects. He said that over the years, China Paper and its parent company Chengtong Group have laid a good foundation for cooperation with Zhanjiang, and have also witnessed the great leap forward and great development of Zhanjiang's economy and society. At present, Zhanjiang is ushering in a new round of development opportunities, and its regional leading position as a central city in the Beibu Gulf and a provincial sub-central city is becoming more and more prominent, with broad development prospects and unlimited business opportunities. China Paper hopes to seize the opportunity in development and use Donghai Island as the preferred development base for enterprises in southern China. It is hoped that in the next step of cooperation between local enterprises, we will receive strong support and help from the Zhanjiang Municipal Party Committee, the Municipal Government and relevant departments, so that China Paper will make greater contributions to the high-quality development of local economy and society.
