Mohammed Salah's 100th Premier League goal helped Liverpool beat 10-man Leeds United 3-0 in a game on Sunday that was injured by dislocated teenager Harvey Elliot
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp said the club would do everything in its power to support Javi Elliott after being seriously injured in the Reds' 3-0 win over Zleigh United.
After substitute Pascal Struik was sent off for challenging Elliot, the home team played the final half-hour match against 10 men, who underwent lengthy treatment before being carried away on a stretcher.
Elliott, 18, posted a picture of himself giving a thumbs up on Instagram before working full-time and wrote, "Thank you for your message!" The road to recovery.
"He had a serious injury to his ankle," Klopp said. "I heard it was dislocated so we could put it back and he's in the hospital now." Obviously, we have to wait. He played an incredible game and was an incredible player.
Elliott needed a long period of treatment on the pitch
"Do I wish such a little boy in his early career had such an experience?" No, but that's the case now, so we have to be there and we'll be there. We'll play football without him, but we'll wait for him to be okay because obviously he's a top player. ”
Responding to Elliott's social media post at a press conference, Klopp said: "One of my favorite Instagram posts, if he's already done that, shows he doesn't suffer too much, so it's great.
"We've all seen that the ankle wasn't in the right place and the medical team put it in the right place. There wasn't much good to say or it would be serious injury. We'll have to wait for further inspections and scans."
Klopp's side have won their fifth consecutive league win away from home and are now unbeaten in 14 league games, dating back to last season.

Salah became the 30th different centurion, with only four players reaching the milestone less than the Egyptian (162 matches).
"With Mo's record, it's crazy," Klopp added. "I don't know how much he can break, and he's probably very eager to do that. What a great player since he joined us! And he was still hungry.
"I saw him in the dressing room and we were all related to Harvey, but he was still upset that he didn't score one or two other goals. The top players are like that, which is good. ”
Fabinho scored a goal five minutes into the start of the second quarter and Sadio Mane scored a well-deserved third place in the third quarter to extend Liverpool's unbeaten start.
