Shao Guanglu said that China Telecom has made positive progress in the ecological construction of the 5G industry:

First, the circle of friends is getting bigger and bigger. Since the establishment of the 5G Industry Innovation Alliance in September last year, the alliance has more than 200 members, nearly 1,000 ecological partners, and 54 joint innovation centers, which has promoted the landing of a number of 5G industry integration innovation projects.

The second is to vigorously expand the 5G 2B market. In emergency response, housing construction, resident services, industry, education, transportation and logistics, VIP services, agriculture and rural areas, health, political and legal public security and other industries, China Telecom has joined hands with partners to jointly provide 5G integrated solutions for customers in vertical industries. It has created more than 100 industry application demonstration projects.

The third is to jointly build a 5G joint innovation center, a 5G open laboratory, and joint research and development, and have achieved remarkable results. Among them, the 5G joint laboratory established by China Telecom and Hangfa South Company of China has achieved remarkable results in the construction of 5G private networks, the construction of industrial parks, the transformation of industrial Internet, and the 5G+AR+ expert manufacturing model, 5G+sensor+edge computing+manufacturing parameter model. The 5G Intelligent Manufacturing Joint Innovation Center established by China Telecom and Sany Heavy Industry carries out in-depth exploration of machine vision, remote intelligent driving, AGV and other scenarios based on 5G and MEC edge computing, and jointly formulates 5G intelligent manufacturing industry standards on the basis of practice.

At present, with the expansion of 5G network coverage, the increase in 5G terminal choices, the increasing popularity of cloud services, the development of artificial intelligence technology is gradually accelerating, and the conditions for innovation in the 5G industry are getting better and better, facing an important period of opportunities.

At this year's Tianyi Intelligent Ecological Industry Summit Forum, China Telecom took the lead in releasing the cloud-network integration strategy and the cloud-network integration white paper, putting forward the sixteen-character policy of "the network is the foundation, the cloud is the core, the network moves with the cloud, and the cloud and the network are integrated", focusing on consolidating the foundation of the new information infrastructure. Through the synergy of cloud and network, the provision of basic capabilities is realized, which supports the data storage and computing exchange processing to be more efficient and convenient, accelerates the in-depth diffusion of digital technology integration and application, and improves the speed of economic and social innovation.

At the meeting, Shao Guanglu stressed that China Telecom will build cloud computing services into its main business, and will adopt a cloud-network integration strategy of hybrid multi-cloud, which is not only the deep integration of China Telecom's own network and Tianyi Cloud, but also the integration of multi-cloud and multi-network.
