Beijing News On November 18, the director's cut version of "Godfather 3" released a trailer. It is reported that in order to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the release of "Godfather 3", director Francis Ford Coppola re-edited the film and restored it in 4K. The director's cut version of Godfather 3 will be released in some theaters in North America on December 4, and a Blu-ray digital version will be released on December 8. The version is 2 hours and 37 minutes long, which is 5 minutes less than the original version.

The director's cut version of Godfather 3 uses a new beginning and ending, as well as adjustments to the scenes, music, graphics, and sound, and the title is Mario Puzo's Godfather Final Chapter: The Death of Mike Corleone. Coppola said the title was due to his and the Author of the Godfather novel, Mario Puzo, and his initial intentions.
