Hollywood actor Peter Fonda died at home at the age of 79

On August 17, according to the BBC, Peter Fonda, the male protagonist of the Hollywood classic film "Runaway Rider", died of respiratory failure caused by lung cancer at home at the age of 79.

Peter Fonda was born in 1940 in New York, USA, into an acting family. Influenced by his father Henry Fonda and sister Jane Fonda from an early age, Peter had experience acting at an early age.

In 1969, he was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Screenplay for his screenwriting and starring in Easy Rider. In 1997, Peter was nominated for the 70th Academy Award for Best Actor and the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor for his role in Beekeeper's House. In 1999, he won the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Television Series for his role in the feature film Rand's Passion.
