Luo Nian'an, the representative of Wang Yangming's spiritual return to the Silent Sect, had a strange dream when he was five years old. In the dream of Nian'an, I still know that it is a dream, when Qu shouts: All the people who come and go are my dreams, why should they fight with each other and unconsciously? Dreamwalker, clap your hands and laugh.
I never had this dream, but when I played a game as a teenager, I often said to the people in the scene of BenJing, this is just a game, you know? For example, in "Immortal Sword IV", Mengli bid farewell to Tianhe, a sentence "Whoever says goodbye will eventually have no regrets, and the dust before the dust will not fly together", which caused me to cry.
Tianming opened the computer again and solemnly told them that the people in the play were too stupid! I sometimes say to the koi that grabs the food, you're in the tank, you know? As he spoke, his heart flooded with the great absurdity and great sadness in the urn in the dream play.
Nian An had only done one thing in his life: to fight with himself and try to crawl out of his dreams. If you are not a monk or Taoist monk, an ordinary person has spent his whole life as a professional practitioner, which is rare.
In the eighth year of Jiajing (1529), the twenty-five-year-old Luo Nian Temple took the first place in the examination and won the title. Wang Fuzhi's account said that on the day of nian'an to hear the news, he brought his own dry food and went to the Ye Temple to give a lecture, regardless of the color head of the yuan. If you think that he has been rich and prosperous all his life, or has slipped to the other extreme, and the red dust has fallen and swept away the clouds of wealth, you are wrong.
He temporarily inhabited the temple and the wild temple, and then spent a lot of time in the countryside and caves. According to Zhuangzi and NanGuo Ziqi, I lost my life. I lost myself, forgot, killed. Nian An had been fighting with himself all his life, just trying to figure out how "I" couldn't be the lord of "me". I know clearly that I am in my dreams, why I can't wake up.
Ordinary people are frustrated or drunk before reflecting on and returning to the side business, Nian An took it as the main business of a lifetime. A safflower-like member, not born, not born, jumped out of the history books of the name of the routine, but also crossed the red robe and white snow in the play. Nested at home, or hidden in a cave, often three years without stepping on the grass in front of the steps, just like this to send your life.
As the founder of the Xinyi Jiang Right Gui Silent Sect, Nian An could not even be called a student of Wang Yangming. At the age of fifteen, Nian'an obtained a first-carved copy of the "Records of Transmission and Practice" in his hometown of Ji'an, Jiangxi, "that is, knowing the karma of death, and having a lot of confidence." According to Hu Zhi, Mou Zongsan, Zhang Weihong and others, although Nian'an had no chance of kissing Mr. Yangming, he became acquainted with a group of Yangming's pro-students, such as Wang Longxi, when he went to Beijing to take the exam and briefly served as a Hanlin editor.
At that time, Wang Longxi had long been enlightened by Mr. Yang Ming, and in order to learn as an official, he intended to work hard and "arrange the arrangement without any effort." Nian An was impressed at first sight with Longxi's dazzling literary brilliance. Coupled with the personal disposition of the teenager who dreamed, he also wanted to be a person like Longxi.
What kind of person is that? He lays a knife in his throat, sees his conscience clearly, and does not oppose all things outside, and his heart is unbound, and he steers the sea of life and death.
However, there were two things that Nian An couldn't do about Longxi.
The first is that the body is too poor. Nian'an has been young and long, and his body is weak and sickly, and he often hovers between life and death. In his early twenties, there was an emergency, and for seventy days he "could not eat", could not see anyone, could not speak, and "only had one thought and little sleep". Forty years or so, already weak in blood and qi, teeth and whiskers, half-crippled, even to the point where books can not be read, "a little closer to the book, then the head is dizzy and painful." Sleeping eyes are not good, "quietly can not sleep, not for the night long."
On the one hand, such ailment aroused Nian'an's determination to leave life and death, for the sake of life, for honor and humiliation, and all of them had fallen; on the other hand, it also caused him to be difficult to be like Longxi, temples and rivers, learning life, self-confidence, going straight up and down, indulging in indulgence.
The second is the difference in the path of practice. In the collision and fusion of Confucianism and Buddhism and Taoism, there have always been two deficiencies: regardless of life and death, there is very little concern for ultimate meaning and the world on the other side; as a system of interpretation and guidance for real humanity, there is no set of exquisite and complete, accessible work and practice methods.
Yang Mingxin studies go back to Kong Meng and the Four Books, especially Mencius and the University, and closely inherit Song Ming's theory of science, with unique inventions, and put forward the ontological ideal and work path to conscience.
According to the teachings of the mind, The practice of Confucianism consists of the following steps:
First, faith and conscience, that is, the belief that everyone has a conscience that exists as the essence of the mind;
Second, to understand conscience, that is, to be enlightened at the level of consciousness and language, to understand the subtlety of conscience, non-birth and non-destruction, non-good and non-evil;
Moreover, to preserve conscience, that is, to keep a clear mind, to respect the Lord and be quiet, but there is a development of right and wrong, and immediately converge and condense the source of the heart, in order to "remove the branches and leaves, and be determined by the original";
In the end, to fully understand conscience, that is, to recognize conscience with the heart and the body, and to know and act in unity, to use the body, and to speak and act in daily life and to deal with all things without the total use of conscience.
It is not enough to believe, to enlighten, to keep, to use conscience, and to forget it in the end. When Mr. Yang Ming was quelling the chaos of Chenhao, he still said that he steered the boat and crossed the sea of life and death, indicating that he was still in the fourth stage at that time, and he made meritorious deeds according to his conscience, and only in his old age did he enter the realm of forgetting enlightenment.
He only said in the second half of the "Book of Transmissions" that he always knows right from wrong, always knows what is right and wrong, and when he opens his mouth, he has his own heart, such as the red sun and the sky and the universe shines on itself, like the yuan qi is transported in the four hours and the universe is transformed on its own.
Wang Longxi received the teacher's teaching, turned around and believed and realized, and obtained the "True Book of Cutting Off the Gate and Fixing the Destiny", and from then on, the needle was to the point, the slightest reason, the gods felt god's response, and they could not afford to be delusional. This made Luo Nian'an both adored and distressed. He also believed that there was such a thing as the nature of conscience, and once he had to rely on it, he could leave the dust and dream, and be at ease.
However, from the time he came into contact with the Records of Transmission and Practice at the age of fifteen to the age of twenty-five, when he was close to Wang Longxi, to his return to his hometown to practice, he tossed and tortured until he was thirty or forty years old, and he did not catch the tail of conscience. In the large number of articles, poems and books he left behind, he sincerely and faithfully recorded the tragic situation of fighting with himself for most of his life.
He lived himself into a realistic version of the mediocre daydream described by Wang Yangming. Ignorant and excited, stupid and eating, unable to do, accustomed to noticing, all day long, just dreaming. Such a sincere person who seeks liberation has grown flowers on his broken iron shoes, but his conscience cannot be found everywhere.
Or as he said to himself, he lost his way and drove by mistake, and every step was a wrong road.
Longxi said that seeing (present) is in conscience, and the present is. Nian An said, conscience is ready, everyone has its own nature, then you show me and tell me? He began to doubt Longxi's set, since conscience was a heavenly mind body, how could he get it at his fingertips, and where was there any ready-made epiphany of wisdom all the way?
He and another disciple of the King's Gate, Nie Bao, wrote to Longxi: Brother Gao Yan is just like the sweet mouth of manna, but he can't eat it when he eats! Thank you for your nectar, but I'm so hungry that I want to eat!
Nian An decided to take stupid kung fu and abandon the conscience ready-made school. In matters of ideas and positions, mortals always have to join a faction, or create a faction of their own. His stupid kung fu opened the conscience to the silent sect, which is simply honest duty, returning to the cave and recuperating the original heart.
Shi Zhi Xuan often has an exaggerated component, but stupid kung fu is always worthy of the name. Nian An closed the door of the house, and he was going to sit quietly like Mr. Yang Ming in his early years. The principle of meditation kung fu is not complicated, sitting in the outer world of the wind is quiet, the rain and snow in the heart have stopped, and perhaps the lamp of the netherworld will be on. The Lord is silent, silent, and lights up.
He sat until he was fifty years old, and the stupid child became a stupid old man. Always trying to be reluctant, not allowing for relaxation everywhere, and living diligently to live up to this heart. But this conscience occasionally grunted and revealed a trace, and suddenly broke the clue. Suddenly, we get it, and then we lose it suddenly.
Half a lifetime of hardship, but chasing the wind and electricity, playing with light and shadow, in the end is still dazed and unprepared, "it is a lifelong transformation, and nothing can be achieved."
During this time, Nian'an was critically ill several times, and he suffered the pain of losing his wife and son. He was sad, "I" was helpless against "me". A basket of poetry can not hold the bitter tears of decades. Hot tears wet the wooden bed, and moss was born.
In his letter to the students, he said that on the wooden bed, he silently looked back at how much evil he had done in the past, but he regretted it, and he had been caught between his backs several times, and in his early years he said that "nothing exists and never forgot", and that this is the most poisonous thing to say too early. This kind of needle-introspection and remorse cannot be escaped by every stumbling middle-aged man.
However, he did not give up, in fact, there was no way back. Tang Shunzhi, a disciple of Wang Men, responded to the call of the imperial court to resist the Wu, but Nian'an should not be summoned, and he could not ride a horse or a boat. After Shun came to the ship of illness and death, before dying, he cried out: Dead country, Wu Zhiye; the hateful thing is that the work is not exhausted, and the conscience is not yet reached.
Shunzhi died with hatred, which stimulated Nian An greatly, and it was even more painful to think about the pain, empty the front edge, and cherish dan twilight breathing, hoping to hear the Tao, and die at night.
Long Xi wrote to say, your kung fu is too stupid, people have thousands of chaotic consciousness, why cut them off one by one? Don't fight in consciousness, go back to the small thoughts. The consciousness, the mind's perception of external objects, that is, the knowledge of objects, has a distinction between depth and depth, length, and length; the mental activity of the mind, which perceives external objects, has the distinction between right and wrong, good, evil, sorrow, and joy.
And the conscience and the subtlety of its thoughts are calm insights and self-proofs of consciousness and consciousness, with no object distinction, no duality, nothing is nothing, nothing is good or evil, nothing is boundless, and there is no awareness.
For example, the idea of "I love the great beauty" is the recognition of the greatness and cuteness of the beautiful woman, which means the mental action of recognizing the beautiful woman and making cute judgments. When you have this consciousness, there is still a subtle awareness of the present thought, an insight into the fact that you have so generated cognition and love and hate, and this subtle "present" is conscience.
Longxi's method is to directly believe and understand and conscience, grasp the fundamentals, and cut off consciousness. Cutting off is not a rejection, but starting from the root of conscience, without delay, and clear thinking. Things come and go, things do not stay, although they do karma, they are not tired of their hearts.
This ready-made conscience is the mind-body, the supreme reason, and the heavenly virtue, like the suspension of the mirror, like the source of a hundred rivers. Having obtained this innocence of thought, let you live in the world, unite, tense, serious and lively.
Nian An didn't have such a high talent, and suddenly had an epiphany. He sorted out thousands of troubles over and over again, rushing from east to west, straightening out the chaos repeatedly, and withering and glory. Five years, fifteen years, twenty-five years, I and I are at war, a hundred turns and a thousand times.
Finally, at the age of fifty-one, he climbed to the root of Longxi's grip with great painstaking efforts and slashed it down with a sword. In the following years, after being closed and nurtured, he participated in the construction of the township ethnic group, and practiced his heart in fact, and indeed returned to his roots and was reborn.
Sixty-year-old Luo Zhuangyuan died. He said that it was too vain to let go of one's life, and once he returned to his life, he really bargained and really saved trouble.
This is the common language of the enlightened. Before that, how could he save trouble and bargain for a bargain? In his place, the wisdom of the world is just stupid kung fu.
