Liu Xun: First of all, the new business is still a business, but the form of expression has changed, and the logic of consumption has changed. Openness, transparency, sharing and responsibility are the basic concepts of the new commercial civilization.

In the 21st century, the rise of new consumer groups, such as the post-90s and post-00s, their consumption logic has changed, their consumption behavior has changed, their consumption quality has changed, and their consumption concepts have changed. So there have always been some industry experts talking about it, and I agree that in this day and age, all industries are worth redoing in a new business way. As consumer behavior changes, then our business behavior must also escalate. In the future, business upgrades will tend to be refined, segmented, quality, specialized, and social.

For example, the future store must have functions: experience center, recruitment center, live broadcast base, social center.

Therefore, the new commercial civilization faces five changes: new infrastructure, new business models, new organizations, new values, and new social life. This is my simple understanding of the new business.

Reporter: I have seen you have been engaged in marketing for more than ten years, what unique marketing concept do you have?

Liu Xun: Whether we change in the behavior logic of new business or consumers, in the final analysis, the quality of the product is the first. Make the product to the extreme, and everything else will come pouring in. The upgrading of our future business model, consumption upgrade, and service upgrade are inseparable from the upgrading and ultimate of products. So the core essence of marketing is the product, and only if your product is to create value for consumers, marketing will make sense. On the contrary, it is a flash in the pan.

Marketing is not about branding that makes people feel good, but about choosing to make people feel good. For example: I found a particularly delicious restaurant, I know that a small shop has good clothes, the owner is a super buyer of Milanese clothing, the key is to highlight the wisdom and grade of the decision-maker... Therefore, the key primary factor in the spread of customer word of mouth is to highlight the customer's own wisdom and taste, etc.

Reporter: General Manager Liu, I think you are a very affectionate entrepreneur, and you were hired by the Renze District Government of Xingtai City, Hebei Province, as a member of the Investment Promotion Office in "Beijing and Tianjin" in 2021, so what do you understand about the investment promotion?

Liu Xun: First of all, it is a great honor to be hired by the Renze District Government of Xingtai City as one of the members of the China Merchants Office. Our national level has long proposed a new normal, such as the Belt and Road Initiative, and the establishment of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, China is embracing the world to welcome more investors to invest and operate in China. Then to local governments, only through investment promotion can funds flow. Letting the business environment work, and then driving the local economy, making the people richer and richer, are all part of the Chinese dream, which is at the government level.

The same is true for companies, you must rely on investment to attract more entrepreneurs to work with you, in the future either you will join a brand, or you will create a brand for others to join you, otherwise it is difficult to survive. The time has come for everyone to do business. The future will not be staffed, only entrepreneurs and platform leaders. Therefore, in the future, everyone is both a consumer and an operator, but it is impossible for everyone to create a brand, and it is not realistic. Many entrepreneurs are faced with joining a brand, so choosing a brand is crucial, and too many companies use this to circle money. I have also investigated many entrepreneurs, most of them are after joining the brand side no one cares, and even people can not find it, so remind the majority of entrepreneurs must be careful to choose the brand.

Reporter: What do you think is the core of china merchants?

Liu Xun: Those who are beneficial to themselves and those who are not profitable to others are small businessmen, those who are beneficial to others are not businessmen, those who harm others' interests to benefit themselves are also profitable, and those who are beneficial to themselves are also big businessmen.

Often many friends have told me that you have been doing marketing and investment for so many years, why not quickly engage in several brands to attract investment, come to money quickly and save trouble. This is not in line with my philosophy, since I was a child, my parents have taught me to do things honestly, so although there are many brands I offer advice, I have three principles: first, the product is not good, do not help, second, want to quickly circle money do not help, third, only attract business and do not raise business do not help. Because the business is the core of the investment, so that investors who trust you can make money, put the interests of the franchisees first, you can go for a long time, I often say that the merchants do not raise businessmen, like playing hooligans.
