The 67th NHK Red and White Singer Contest Singer List Announced Hikaru Utada Mitsuru KinKi Kids debuted & Kitano Tenmangu Daifukume

At the end of the year, the list of singers appearing in the "67th NHK Red and White Song Contest" was announced, with a total of 46 groups. There are 10 debuts, namely Hikaru Utada, KinKi Kids, Yuki Ichikawa, Oshubasa Shinobu, Uzaka 46, PUFFY, Kenta Kiritani, THE YELLOW MONKEY, RADWIMPS, and RADIO FISH. There is no SMAP in the list that has made 23 cumulative appearances.

It's the season when witches at Kitano Tenmangu Shrine (Kamigyo-ku, Kyoto) pack "Daifukume".

These dried plums are pickled from about 1,500 plum trees in the park in June this year. Witches and clergy divide the umeboshi into 6 packs, and this year there are about 30,000 packs, which are awarded to worshippers (700 yen/6 pieces) from December 13 to 25, before the arrival of the New Year.
