In the program broadcast on October 28 of that year, a Hebei man named Fu Changyong brought a pair of cups on the program, saying that it was a genuine Yongle sweet white glaze hand cup, and the self-quotation was 20,000 yuan.
In the case that Wang Gang asked Fu Changyong seven times whether to "quit" and the other party repeated the "no retreat" nine times, the hand cup was identified as a modern imitation, and one of them was destroyed on the spot. The connoisseur team then made the judgment that "the dark carved dragon pattern is too stiff and rigid, the tire quality is too coarse, and it is obviously not the fetus of Yongle or Xuande".
After that, Fu Changyong re-handed over the fragments to a third party for identification, and obtained the conclusion of authenticity, so he sued the TV station program team and Wang Gang and others in court, and the saying that "accidentally smashed cultural relics worth 200 million yuan" also spread.
Wang Gang has never responded to this rumor in 8 years, until he recently opened a new personal Microblog.
On the 15th, Wang Gang said in a short video that the rumor content was untrue, he smashed it at the time, and later the treasure holder sued the court, and the first and second instance trials were all ruled to lose.
He recalled that at that time, Fu Changyong had already signed the relevant contract, and Wang Gang's persuasion was unsuccessful several times. As for the rumor of 200 million yuan on the Internet, Wang Gang also said that even if the two cups are true, it is not worth two hundred million.
However, Wang Gang also said that the reason why he had not mentioned it before was also because he sympathized with the treasure holder's things and had to pay all the legal fees. However, due to the fact that some self-media have been spreading rumors, it has been disturbed, which has made an official response.
The reporter inquired into the China Judgment Documents Network and found that in 2015, the Beijing Municipal Third Intermediate Court ruled that the plaintiff Fu Changyong lost the final trial.
After investigation, Fu Changyong and Beijing Television Station voluntarily signed the "Agreement on the Appraisal of the Collection of the World Collection" and the "Letter of Commitment of the Treasure Collector", and agreed that the collection that was unanimously identified as a fake by the "Tianxia Collection" column appreciation expert group would be destroyed by the program host on behalf of the program host at the scene.
