On the basis of clarifying the main pathogenic bacteria with high incidence in dairy cows, and with the goal of developing safe and efficient new veterinary drugs for dairy cows, researcher Li Xiubo led the team to work for 20 years. In the past 20 years, we have adhered to the creation of new veterinary drugs for dairy cows with independent intellectual property rights in China, and have adhered to the worldwide problem of repeated and incurable high incidence of dairy cows. Since 1997, the team has created 31 kinds of safe and efficient new veterinary drugs, obtained 25 national new veterinary drug certificates, including 12 class II drug certificates, formulated 25 national standards for veterinary drugs, published 128 papers, and authorized 16 patents, and the results have reached the international leading level. It has achieved a comprehensive breakthrough from theoretical innovation, technological innovation, method innovation to product innovation, filled a number of technical gaps, broken the monopoly of foreign imported drugs, and provided a strong technical guarantee for the safe production of dairy cows and the sustainable development of the dairy industry in China.

In recent years, Li Xiubo led the team to create a series of new veterinary drugs for the prevention and treatment of high incidence in dairy cows, which have been promoted and applied on a large scale in Hebei, Heilongjiang, Inner Mongolia and other places, and the products are exported to Germany, Japan, Brazil and other countries. In the past three years, it has covered 12.6 million cattle herds, trained 520,000 relevant technical personnel for the industry, and added 3.26 billion yuan in economic benefits, making important contributions to the healthy and sustainable development of the dairy industry.
