Lionsgate's R-rated film Hellboy: Rise of the Blood Queen has released a new batch of posters in which hellboys are surrounded by multiple blood hands, a metaphor for the powerful Blood Queen (played by Mira Jovovich), which will also be released in North America in an IMAX version.
The new version of Hellboy is directed by Neil Marshall, with David Hubble playing "Hellboy",
Ian McCockawn plays Professor Boom, Mira Jovovich plays "Blood Queen" Nimue, Sasha Lane plays Alice Monaghan, Daniel Gold plays Ben Daimio; Penelope Mitchell plays Ganeida, who thinks the Blood Queen's anger lasted too long; Thomas Haden Church played Lobster Johnson.
"Hellboy: Rise of the Blood Queen" will be released in the United States on April 12, and the Chinese mainland is likely to be released at the same time, and is currently under negotiation.
