The drama is broadcast in three seasons and 19 episodes, focusing on and condensing the essence of the heroes in the history of the Longhua Martyrs Memorial, showing how the early Chinese Communists used their lives to forge Shanghai, a heroic city. The series of sound drama "Longhua" excavates and creates the historical materials in the collection of the Longhua Martyrs Memorial Hall, and carefully selects more than 30 heroic characters and lists them as the prototype for creation. Director and producer Xu Guochun has produced many radio dramas with the theme of the model of the times, but the scale and difficulty of this creation are unprecedented: "Writing the stories of dozens of heroic characters in the form of radio dramas and showing their life deeds is really the first time, which is a great challenge to our creative team."
