On February 16, 2020, the Inner Mongolia Prison Administration was appointed to form a medical team to support Hubei, and Suni and nine other team members went to Wuhan to carry out a 56-day epidemic prevention and control mission.
After the task was issued, Suni submitted the "Letter of Request" for the first time. Suni, director of the Nursing Department of the First Hospital of the Inner Mongolia Prison Administration and secretary of the Third Party Branch, joined the Communist Party of China in 1986 and joined the Communist Party of China in 2005. After selection, she served as the leader of the 10-member medical team, the secretary of the provisional party branch, and the chief nurse of the medical team aided by the Ministry of Justice.
The medical team took a plane, transferred buses, and rushed to Wuhan as fast as possible. At about 23:00 on February 24, 2020, I received a call from the Fang Cabin Hospital, and the next day I accepted patients, and the preparation of various facilities must be completed at night. Suni immediately gathered a group of 18 nursing team members to rush to the fang cabin hospital, and it was already two o'clock in the morning after the end of the work. The next day, the fang cabin hospital admitted the patient on time. Suni stayed at the Cabin Hospital all day. At 22:00 at night, she learned that the staff of the Fang Cabin Hospital and the Hospital Sense Department were insufficient, and she led 4 team members to support, which was again until 3 a.m.
After receiving patients, severe tests followed: the heat in the cabin hospital was unbearable, the protective clothing was airtight, and the sweat was sweaty all day; the work was day and night; wearing a mask for a long time, the hypoxia reaction was serious; the goggles were deeply marked on the face, and they were stained with sweat. Winter in Wuhan is so wet and cold, after coming out of the cabin hospital, the cold wind will quickly penetrate into the wet clothes and wreak havoc.
After returning to the station after a busy day, often unable to take care of eating, it is necessary to immediately convene temporary party branch meetings and nurse chief meetings, listen to feedback, find hidden dangers, analyze the causes, adjust measures, and often get busy late at night and early in the morning. Due to overloaded work, Suni's heart was unwell, and her stomach disease recurred, and for several days her stomach hurt so much that she couldn't eat.
In the end, the 10 members of the medical team not only completed their work efficiently, but also successfully achieved "zero infection" and returned safely. After 56 days of life and death tests, 56 days of hard work, and 56 days of responsibility, Suni and the "anti-epidemic" medical team did not live up to the original intention of aiding Hubei, did not fail in the anti-epidemic mission, and set up a glorious banner for the Inner Mongolia prison system.
After this life-and-death battle, Suni was awarded the honorary title of "National Advanced Individual in The Fight against the New Crown Pneumonia Epidemic". Suni said: "This praise is not only an encouragement for my personal efforts, but also an affirmation of the hard work of thousands of retrogrades. In the future, I will continue to carry forward the great anti-epidemic spirit, strive to be the vanguard of the times, and be a loyal defender of the party and the people! ”
