Xu Shan: Maybe I think it has something to do with my own personality. Because some people may be used to music, will want to describe the sad process, and then will be immersed in their own world, and then there has not been a result or an ending, but because my personality will be more direct, I will like to make some conclusions, similar to this thing, there is no result, there is no result, that is, a trip in vain, a start in vain.
Q: Was there anything particularly impressive about the filming of the song's MV?
Xu Shan: The scene scheduling of this MV is still quite large, because part of it was filmed on the qinghai lake side of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, which is an outdoor scene, and then the dark part of the car was returned to Beijing and filmed in the urban area. We were going to The East Terrace Jinel Lake in Qinghai (which is still an undeveloped attraction) with the whole team, and when we got there, the charming natural scenery really gave people a feeling of being baptized, so everyone was very relaxed and happy to work. Then when the post-editing is done but there is no color grading, many friends will guess, where is this? I said how it feels a bit like being in the snow, but I wore a white gauze skirt in such a cold and snowy place, isn't it cold? So everyone is speculating about where it is, or how it was filmed, which I think is actually quite interesting. Then the dark night part is more interesting, when we were editing the footage by the salt lake that day, everyone always felt that something was missing, and then the producer suddenly had a clever move, temporarily called me and the shooting teachers, pulled the box and went outside to shoot a section. Among them, when the car started, the wind was particularly strong, and I couldn't open my eyes when it blew, but I still insisted, and it passed again. Q: So far, I have accumulated a lot of music works, is there any one that I like the most?
Xu Shan: My favorite is "If Time Goes Back", because that song was created by myself in a relatively accidental time, and even the audio I released later was also the sound that I recorded when I was writing the song, so everything will be more smooth, the work was my original intention when I created it, and I didn't think it would be very special at the time, but later, when I looked back at this work, it was indeed a strong sense of picture, and I did have something I wanted to express. Another thing is that especially after the whole pandemic in 2021, I think of this song when I see or hear some choices or results that people have made that I regret.
Q: Is there any other genre that you want to try next?
Xu Shan: Next, I may try to add R&B elements to the future works, I will also try the genre of band rock, and then I want to try a little rap, which I like more. Mainly because I personally want to try some new things, I also want to find a "Xu Shan style" of my own!
Q: What part do you enjoy the most when you're a singer? Do you think that as a singer for such a long time now, have you changed?
Xu Shan: I think what I enjoy most as a singer is that when I release my work, some fans can read what I want to express and can resonate with me. If I change, I think I've grown quite a bit. Because from the beginning I was just singing, when I encountered a very low mood, I would even doubt whether I was just a singing machine, but later, I began to contact creation, I could observe life, and then express my emotions, I could also help others express their hearts, to feel the mood of others, etc. When I resonated with everyone, I felt that the world seemed to have a lot of things that moved me, beautiful things, and I began to learn to sing.

Xu Shan: Because I am a southerner, Beijing is actually quite far away for me, and my family will think why I am a little girl who has to go to Beijing like this. But I remember that I only came to Beijing three times when I was growing up alone, but each time it was related to music, so I thought it might be a little bit doomed. And then I felt that focusing only on being a singer or a creator might not be a common thing that everyone would do. Everyone will describe me like this, and then many people see that I think my appearance and appearance should be very well-behaved and sweet, and maybe when I first met my friends, I would be more shy and shy.
