Jeffrey White joins the new Batman as gotham City Police Chief

Beijing News (Reporter Li Yan) On September 24, US time, according to foreign media reports, Jeffrey White is negotiating to join the new "Batman" movie directed by Matt Reeves, playing Gotham City Police Chief James Gordon. Batman, starring Robert Pattinson, will be a black detective-style film. The film will be released in North America on June 25, 2021.

James Gordon first appeared in Detective Comics #27 (May 1939), co-authored by Bill Finger and Bob Kane. He represents the righteous side, the voice of gotham City's laws and public authorities, is the most tragic character, and is one of Batman's few friends and partners.
