At 1:58 a.m. on June 25, 2021, the upper gap in the roller shutter door of the room on the south side of the first floor was faintly wafting out, and 32 minutes later, it was already obvious that a large amount of smoke was pouring out of the upper gap of the roller shutter door, and almost at the same time, a woman in white pajamas walked along the internal stairs of the building to the second floor.
After coming to the second floor, she only looked back and forth at the rooms in the student accommodation area, and then quickly turned around and went downstairs. Unfortunately, the ongoing fire in the next room did not alert her. The smoke grew louder and soon filled the entire picture.
At exactly 3:00 a.m., there was a faint purring sound from the student dormitory on the second floor, and the sleeping children did not know that a huge disaster was quietly approaching them.

Immediately after, the colored steel plate used to separate the fire room from the next room was burned through, which also broke through the security line between the fire point and the student dormitory on the second floor, and the items in the room immediately overfired, and the smoke wrapped around the fire spread rapidly along the open staircase to the second floor. Because the door of the student dormitory on the second floor is an ordinary wooden door, it cannot effectively block the spread of the fire, directly putting more than 30 people in the building in danger.
At 3:06:50 a.m., the first and second floors of the building that caught fire were all engulfed in flames, followed by the burning building.

The people fighting the fire downstairs did not realize at this time that there were more than 30 children on the second floor who were surrounded by thick smoke and fire.
At 3:09:26, a man dressed in white noticed something unusual upstairs. After 2 minutes, people found mats, bedding on the ground, and prompted the children to jump off the building to escape, and the best time to escape was lost.
At 3:12:53, the first student jumped off the building to escape, and then, many more students jumped off the building to escape, but 18 other students failed to escape the fire.

A small plate of mosquito coils turned out to be the culprit in the fire that triggered the deaths of 18 minors, which can't help but make people sigh. Due to the lack of automatic fire alarm facilities in the building, the fire was discovered late, and the rooms were not separated by fire protection as required, and the corresponding fire fighting facilities were not equipped.
In the initial self-rescue process, the scene used buckets and basins of water to extinguish the fire; the on-site firefighters did not call the police at the first time, nor did they guide the children upstairs to escape and evacuate in time, which greatly delayed the effective fire fighting and rescue time.
