On February 18, according to the Anhui Discipline Inspection and Supervision Network, Yang Bo, former secretary of the Taihe County Party Committee of Fuyang City, was dismissed from his party post and dismissed from government affairs for serious violations of discipline and law.
"Political Affairs" noted that this is the first time that the official has disclosed that Yang Bo has been investigated for serious violations of discipline and law. The Supervision Commission of the Anhui Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection still refers to him as a "comrade."

The Anhui Provincial Discipline Inspection Commission Supervision Commission reported that a few days ago, with the approval of the Anhui Provincial CPC Committee, the Provincial Discipline Inspection Commission Supervision Commission conducted a case review and investigation into Yang Bo, former secretary of the Taihe County CPC Committee, for serious violations of discipline and the law.
After investigation, Comrade Yang Bo seriously violated the party's political discipline, turned a deaf ear to the spirit of the eight provisions of the central authorities, ignored the requirements of the provincial party committee's repeated orders and five declarations, illegally consumed high-grade liquor purchased with public funds, violated the regulations on the use of official vehicles for private use, and violated the law to accept banquets and gifts from management and service recipients that might affect the fair execution of official duties; the responsibility of the first responsible person for comprehensively and strictly administering the party was ineffective, the conspicuous problems such as formalism and bureaucracy existed in the areas under administration, and the "laxity and softness" of managing the party and the party. Problems such as ineffective implementation of inspection and rectification tasks bear the main leadership responsibility.
The circular pointed out that Comrade Yang Bo, as the principal responsible person of the county party committee, does not have a strong "four consciousnesses," has a weak sense of discipline and rules, has a deviation in the concept of political achievements, defies discipline and takes the lead in breaking discipline, seriously damages the local party style and government style, seriously violates party discipline and constitutes a violation of the law in his post, and does not restrain or accept his hands after the Eighteenth National Congress of the Party or even the Nineteenth National Congress of the Party, and should be dealt with severely. In view of Comrade Yang Bo's ability to recognize his own mistakes, actively cooperate with the examination and investigation work, truthfully explain his violations of discipline and the law, and have a good attitude, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Regulations on Disciplinary Punishment of the Communist Party of China," the "Regulations on the Accountability of the Communist Party of China," the "Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China," the "Law of the People's Republic of China on The Law on The Punishment of Public Employees," and other relevant provisions, after the Standing Committee of the Provincial Discipline Inspection Commission studied and reported to the provincial party committee for approval, it was decided to give Comrade Yang Bo the punishment of revoking his party post; the provincial supervision commission should give him the punishment of dismissal from government affairs; and confiscate his gains from violating discipline and law.
According to public information, Yang Bo was born in November 1971, a native of Huaiyuan, Anhui Province, with a bachelor's degree, began working in July 1996, and joined the Communist Party of China in May 1996.
Yang Bo has worked in the United Front Work Department of the Anhui Provincial Party Committee, the General Office of the Anhui Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, the Political Research Office of the Anhui Provincial Party Committee and other units, and in 2010, he was appointed deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the General Office of the Anhui Provincial Party Committee. In the same year, he successively served as deputy secretary general of the Chizhou Municipal Party Committee and deputy secretary of the Qingyang County CPC Committee, in 2011 he was appointed deputy secretary and executive deputy mayor of Chizhou Chizhou High-tech Zone, and in 2013 he was appointed deputy secretary of the Shitai County CPC Committee and county magistrate.
In June 2015, Yang Bo was appointed deputy secretary of the Taihe County Party Committee and a candidate for county chief, and was elected as the county chief the following month. In May 2016, Yang Bo was appointed secretary of the Taihe County Party Committee, and was dismissed from his post.
"Zheng Shi'er" noted that according to the unified deployment of the Anhui Provincial Party Committee, from October to December 2020, the first inspection team of the provincial party committee inspected Taihe County and "looked back". On February 2 this year, the official website of the Anhui Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection said that recently, the first inspection team of the provincial party committee gave feedback to the Taihe County Party Committee on the situation of "looking back".
The feedback from the inspection pointed out that there is a gap in the implementation of the party's line, principles, and policies, and the major decisions and arrangements of the party Central Committee and the provincial party committee, and the quality of county economic development is not high enough; the implementation of the strategic plan for comprehensively and strictly administering the party is not deep enough, there are shortcomings in the performance of the "two responsibilities," there are weak links in the restrictions on the operation of power, and the building of work style needs to be strengthened; the overall planning for the construction of the cadre contingent is not sufficient; the political functions of grass-roots party organizations are not fully played; and the rectification and reform of problems discovered by inspection and auditing supervision and the problems of thematic education inspection are not thorough enough. At the same time, the inspection group also received clues reflecting the problems of leading cadres, which have been transferred to the relevant discipline inspection and supervision organs and organizational departments for handling in accordance with relevant regulations.
At that time, Yang Bo, then secretary of the Taihe County Party Committee, said that the first was to carefully compare the feedback, study and analyze one by one, find the causes one by one, establish a rectification account one by one, formulate a list of problems and rectification measures, and clarify the responsibility and completion time limit. The second is to decompose the tasks layer by layer, consolidate the responsibility for rectification, and timely study and solve various problems in the rectification and reform to ensure that the problems are rectified in place and the clearance is bottomed out. The third is to make full use of feedback, consolidate and improve the results of inspections, and ensure that the decision-making and deployment of the Party Central Committee and the provincial party committee take root in Taihe.
On the morning of February 8, Yang Bo led a team to visit and comfort the heads of local enterprises. According to the official website, this is the last time he will participate in a public event as the secretary of the county party committee.
