Magical snow-capped mountains, steep canyons, carpet-like meadows, mirror-like lakes, vast primeval forests, exotic flora and fauna, these fascinating natural scenery are all gathered in a place called "Shangri-La".
Since the publication of Vanishing Horizon, the name "Shangri-La" has become synonymous with the ideal home.
Every year in May, the rhododendrons bloom here, and the rhododendrons bloom all over the mountains, covering the entire mountain forest and grassland, dotting the green mountains and rivers, painting the snowy plateau into a fascinating secret.

There is also a magical legend about the rhododendrons on the shores of The Pita Sea - "Cuckoo Drunken Fish". This spectacle arises because the petals of rhododendrons are slightly poisonous, and the petals float into the lake when they are blown by the wind, and when they are eaten by naked carp, they float on the surface of the lake like drunkenness.

The majestic Yunling Mountains belong to the Hengduan Mountain Range, with continuous peaks and snow-capped peaks overlooking the snow all year round, just like a galloping white horse, hence the name "White Horse Snow Mountain".
The alpine rhododendron forest on the snowy mountains is rich in species and is called "the cradle of the northern temperate flora" by botanists. Alpine rhododendrons such as Rhododendron of the Dense Branch, Rhododendron goldback, Rhododendron silverback, Rhododendron vena, Rhododendron velvet, rhododendron of the small leaf, and other alpine rhododendrons will appear here.
In 2005, the Baima Snow Mountain Rhododendron Forest was named one of the "Top Ten Most Beautiful Forests in China" by China National Geographic.
The blooming utopia of The Bigu Tianchi
Compared with other attractions in Shangri-La, many people are unfamiliar with Bigu Tianchi.
The average water depth of Bigu Tianchi is only 1.62 meters, and the deepest point is only about 3 meters, although the lake is not large or deep, it presents a strange quiet and strange clarity.
This clear and transparent lake seems to be the pure soul of the world of colorful flowers and trees around it.
People who look at the flowers only feel that large areas of rich purple and red are pulling their eyes, but they can't tell which one and which one. If you wander in it, you will naturally get drunk with the flowers.

The flowers of Yangtang Qu are flowing
Yangtang Qu, which means "riverside where flowers gather" in Tibetan, is located in the town of Xiaozhongdian in Shangri-La City. The Hada-like Yangtang River drifts from north to south, and there are beautiful scenery along both sides of the river.
The Yangtang Qu Rhododendron flowers bloom in full bloom in May and July, and a dream tour begins in an ancient Tibetan village. People take yak boats down the river and enjoy the stunning plateau scenery on both sides of the river.
A place of dreams in Xiaozhongdian
Xiaozhongdian is located in the alpine dam area and has a large area of lush grassland. From late May to mid-June, it becomes a sea of flowers, with colorful rhododendrons and Gesang flowers blooming all over the hillside.
